Job summary

International Law Firm in Birmingham is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a 12-month fixed-term contract, working on the Financial Services Disputes & Investigations team. You will support senior lawyers on complex matters and help with case preparation, research, and deadlines.

This role offers a hybrid pattern (3 days in office, 2 days at home) and opportunities to develop through top-tier disputes work, with training and progression within a globally recognised firm.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience in litigation or disputes.
• Ability to manage your own caseload.
• Strong understanding of court procedures and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Proactive and collaborative, keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support case preparation (bundles, disclosure, court documents)
• Conduct legal research and summarise findings
• Liaise with courts, counsel, and third parties
• Manage deadlines and ensure procedural compliance
• Assist with billing, reporting, and matter management
• Support process improvements and data tracking
