Job description

Job title: Litigation NQ Solicitor 0-3 PQE
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £45,000-£55,000+
PQE Level: NQ-3 PQE
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time

A respected regional firm seeks a newly qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive to join its collaborative Litigation team. Working closely with the Head of Litigation, you will receive senior support while building expertise across probate, property and general disputes.

You will manage contentious probate matters, including will contests, trust disputes and estate challenges. Your property litigation work will cover landlord-tenant disagreements, boundary claims and development disputes. You will also handle commercial and general litigation, such as shareholder and contract disputes, debt recovery and professional negligence claims.

Daily duties include drafting court documents and settlement agreements, instructing counsel, gathering expert evidence, and attending hearings and mediations. You will ensure compliance with AML, GDPR and professional conduct rules, drive business development, maintain WIP records and assist with billing.

Applicants must hold a clean practising certificate, possess strong organisational and client-care skills, and demonstrate commercial awareness. Excellent written and verbal communication, resilience under pressure and the ability to manage a caseload independently within a team environment are essential.
