The Team

The Tier 1-ranked Dispute Resolution team is known for its strategic precision, commercial acumen and exceptional client service. They act swiftly to identify the core issues, formulate creative solutions and resolve disputes efficiently, whether through negotiation, arbitration or litigation. The team represents some of the most recognisable names across music, film, television, media and sport, offering deep expertise in alternative dispute resolution including arbitration, mediation and expert determination. This is a department where excellence is the standard and collaboration are key. The Role

As a Litigation/Dispute Resolution Associate, you'll play an integral role within the team. Handling a diverse and stimulating caseload for high-profile individuals and global businesses. You'll work closely with the Senior Partner, Co-Head of Dispute Resolution and Head of Sport, gaining exposure to a wide range of matters across litigation, arbitration and regulatory disputes, including:

  • Intellectual property and contractual disputes.
  • Agency, management and royalty disputes.
  • Sports regulatory and governance matters.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years' PQE (England & Wales) with experience in commercial and regulatory disputes, including High Court litigation, investigations, arbitration and ADR.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • A proactive, resilient and client-focused approach, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • A collaborative and strategic mindset, with a commitment to teamwork, knowledge sharing and innovation.
Desirable
  • Experience in media, sports, entertainment and technology-related disputes, including IP, contractual and regulatory issues.
  • Exposure to reputation management, defamation and rights-related work within the entertainment sector.
  • An emerging network within the media and entertainment industries, with confidence in public speaking and client development.
  • Additional strengths such as multilingual communication and experience producing or presenting thought leadership content.
