Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Liquid Bulk Driver to deliver products safely and efficiently to customer sites across Hull and East Yorkshire, adhering to all safety rules and operational procedures. You will perform vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and maintain regulatory training to ensure compliance.

The successful candidate will hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence, tanker experience, current ADR 2,3,8 certification, and a CPC with up-to-date periodic training.

Qualifications

• LGV 1 licence (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted) is required.
• Proven tanker driving experience is required.
• Valid ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (in date).
• Valid Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and current periodic training status.
• A safety-first work record and a proactive communication style are essential.
• Strong ability to drive professionally and to meet safety/efficiency targets using digital vehicle data.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety rules, processes and procedures.
• Carry out pre- and post-vehicle checks per DVSA guidelines and Air Products standards.
• Load and unload products according to distribution instructions and RTL Knowledgebase app guidance.
• Complete all required regulatory training.
• Maintain tachograph compliance and data accuracy per DVSA expectations.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Liquid Bulk Driver to join our team. In this position, you will provide timely and accurate delivery of products to Air Products customers and own sites in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace Air Products' core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. The role provides a front-line business-critical activity, being part of the Air Products team supporting our ongoing customer relationships, which improve retention on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
• Pre & Post vehicle check in line with DVSA guidelines, and Air Products standards, which may change from time-to-time.
• Loading, unloading, and all other activities associated with product management in line with Distribution working instructions and procedures available via "RTL Knowledgebase app".
• Successful completion of all regulatory training as required.
• Maintain tachograph infringement level in line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and Air Products standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring, and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.

Requirements

• LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted)
• Proven tanker driving experience
• Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum
• Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status
• Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment
• Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills
• Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data.
