Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Linehaul Driver in Bristol to operate a well-maintained vehicle between Station and Hubs. The role involves night shifts, no loading/unloading on some days, and transporting freight with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Hours are 48 per week with hourly pay of £15.14 plus night-time premia. Company benefits include retirement and life assurance, uniform, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A full LGV C+E licence with Driver CPC and Tachograph cards.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Linehaul - Station to Sortation Hub and return

We are looking for Drivers to join our team at Bristol. Whether you are fresh from the test centre or have experience, we want to speak to you!

Your role

As a FedEx driver within our Linehaul fleet, you’ll be driving a well-maintained vehicle from Station to Hubs with no loading and unloading. There may be some external customers that require unloading/loading on the day shift (not multi-drop).

Working hours: 48 hours per week

Shift pattern: Nights

Salary: £15.14 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.63 per hour), and 10pm - 6am (£1.97 per hour)

What will you be doing?

• Moving freight between FedEx Locations or to our customer’s locations
• Security of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle
• No multi drop
• Complete procedural checks on your vehicle
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations

What are we looking for?

• A full valid LGV C+E licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Cards
• Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations
