Job summary

FedEx is seeking drivers for Worcester Linehaul operations. You will drive a well-maintained vehicle between FedEx locations, with no loading/unloading on most days.

A full LGV C+E licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card are required, along with the ability to work independently and flexibly. We offer 22 days of holiday (plus increases), a retirement plan, free uniform and PPE, DCPC renewal, life assurance, EAP, tuition assistance and other benefits.

Job description

We are looking for Drivers to join our team at Worcester. Whether you are fresh from the test centre or have experience, we want to speak to you!

As a FedEx driver within our Linehaul fleet, you’ll be driving a well-maintained vehicle from Station to Hubs with no loading and unloading. There may be some external customers that require unloading/loading on the day shift (not multi-drop).

Working hours: 48 hours per week

Shift pattern: various starts 13:00 to 20:30)

Salary: £15.14 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.63 per hour), and 10pm - 6am (£1.97 per hour)

What will you be doing?

• Moving freight between FedEx Locations or to our customer’s locations
• Security of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle
• No multi drop
• Complete procedural checks on your vehicle
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations

What are we looking for?

• A full valid LGV C+E licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Cards
• Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations
