Job summary

Quick Staff UK Ltd in Pontyclun area is seeking a production line operator to join the manufacturing team. You will ensure production plans are carried out safely, efficiently and on time, with adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include line setup, labelling, coding, quality checks and accurate record-keeping, following GMP, HACCP and SOPs. The role is physically demanding and requires good numeracy and clear written communication.

Qualifications

• Experience of machine setting, changeovers and troubleshooting (essential).
• Engineering or technical experience (essential).
• Food manufacturing experience.
• Good numeracy and written communication skills.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and moving products.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing line, including labelling, coding and final case packing.
• Coordinate production line activities to achieve output targets while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.
• Prepare equipment for production by line set-ups and changeovers for different products and packaging.
• Monitor equipment performance and respond to issues to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure products meet specifications; maintain accurate records.
