Job summary

Industrial Light & Magic (ILM London) is seeking Line Producers with a strong grasp of scheduling at both sequence and discipline levels. We are looking for individuals who embody production excellence and share our passion for exceptional filmmaking.

The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days on-site per week in London, with occasional work from home. You will oversee schedules, collaborate with coordinators and discipline leads, and mentor junior crew as part of a driven production team.

Qualifications

• Previous Line Producer experience in VFX.
• Ability to schedule sequences across the VFX pipeline.
• Proven experience managing Artists and Coordinators.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Creative thinking with problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
• Experience with ShotGrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee show sequence or discipline schedules, ensuring a comprehensive schedule aligning with project size.
• Collaborate closely with Coordinators to maintain an organised and efficient project operation.
• Work with discipline supervisors and leads in crewing, casting, and scheduling work assignments.
• Provide nurturing and training to junior members of the production team.
• Keep a weekly synopsis of discipline and/or sequence accomplishments and outline next steps.
• Serve as a key communication liaison between relevant parties involved in your work.
• Collaborate with third-party vendor teams to establish task requirements in the schedule.
• Prioritise and escalate issues as needed.
