Overview

Are you an experienced Line Leader looking to take ownership of production performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We’re currently hiring a Line Leader based in Runcton to manage and organise multiple packing lines, ensuring high-quality finished goods are produced safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing up to three production lines to deliver customer orders on time and in full
  • Leading, motivating, and training your team to meet KPIs (waste reduction, packs per minute, OEE, cost per pack)
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and H&S standards
  • Coordinating with runners, label teams, and quality teams to maintain product accuracy
  • Carrying out quality checks, record-keeping, and handovers between shifts
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
What you need
  • Experience in food manufacturing (2+ years desirable)
  • Previous machine operation or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • ERP system knowledge (desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills to gather and report data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good people management and interpersonal skills
  • Food Safety, Health & Safety, or Train the Trainer certifications (desirable)
  • Full right to work in the UK
