Job description

To support a young lady in her own home and the wider community. There are 10-20+ hours per week; shifts can be discussed and hours depending on applications. Flexible approach required. Will be including weekend work a minimum of once a fortnight.

Duties will include:

• personal care
• assisting with household tasks
• cleaning
• light snacks and drinks in daytime
• support to access local community for days out (shopping, leisure, cinema etc.)

Sleepovers when required – Rate to be discussed

Applicants must be understanding, caring and patient. Must have previous experience of a similar role and qualified in moving and handling is essential. NVQ in care preferable/care qualifications etc.

Must possess a full clean valid driving license and have access to a car for ease of commuting. Possibly wheelchair access vehicle for use on days out etc.

Part-time positions are available, with an hourly rate of £12.21 plus 5.6 weeks (pro rata) paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
