Overview

Due to main carer retiring soon there is an opportunity to support a kind, partially sighted lady living in Poulton le Fylde.

Responsibilities

• Personal care including dressing, showering and support with toileting. A ceiling hoist is available and full training will be given.
• Daily living support to include shopping, meal preparation and occasional cleaning plus support with managing medication.
• Provide patient, understanding and reliable care; be comfortable around 2 x friendly Pugs and physically able to push a manual wheelchair.
• Assistance with appointments, social and community activities as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Driver aged 25 or over, with a cleaning license is essential.
• A car with insurance is available for the purpose of taking out to appointments plus accompanying to social and community activities.
• There are 2 x positions available.
• Hours: mornings and lunchtime plus alternate weekends.
• Rate of pay: £12.21 p.p.h plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
