A kind gentleman is looking to find a caring personal assistant to help him navigate daily life and build a trusting, respectful partnership. This role is not just about practical support but about creating a safe, relaxed space, helping build confidence and encouraging ongoing social inclusion, with a particular interest in listening to music.

Responsibilities
  • Act as an advocate and provide companionship.
  • Carry out practical and household tasks and general domestic support.
  • Support with activities that help maintain a safe and relaxed living environment.
  • Show empathy and offer emotional reassurance, understanding how mental health can impact daily life.
  • Engage in activities of interest (e.g., listening to music) to promote social inclusion.
  • Possession of an interest in DIY would be advantageous.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and reliable person who understands mental health and its impact on daily life.
  • Access to own vehicle with business insurance and a full clean driving licence to enable access to the local community.
Details

7 hours per week at a rate of £12.21 per hour. Hours are flexible by negotiation and will be worked Monday – Friday daytime, with very occasional availability for potential gigs of interest.

We are looking to establish a trusting partnership with clear boundaries and mutual respect. No personal care is required.
