Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and MOT preparation.
  • Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and workshop controllers.
Requirements
  • IMI Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
  • Vehicle Inspection or Automotive Engineering qualification also accepted.
  • Previous experience in a main‑dealer or professional workshop environment.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic ability.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • MOT tester certification or hybrid / EV qualification desirable.
