Qualifications

Company: Marmon Lift Recruitment is supporting one of the UK’s leading independent lift companies in the search for an experienced and driven Lift Service Manager based in Hampshire.

Now operating as a stand-alone, PE-backed business, our client is undergoing significant transformation and growth. The Lift Service Manager role is a key appointment within this journey — providing leadership, technical oversight, and operational excellence across the Service Department.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Lift Service team, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery of all repair and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and performance management to meet customer expectations and contractual deadlines.
  • Foster strong client relationships, handling escalations and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Drive safety culture and compliance, conducting audits and ensuring proper use of PPE, tools, and vehicles.
  • Support hiring, training, and development of engineers and office staff.
  • Manage budgets and performance metrics, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to deliver seamless service and quality outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven leadership experience within the lift industry, ideally in service or repairs management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing lift service, engineering operations, or related services.
  • Strong technical understanding of lift systems and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
  • Confident using service management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
