This role ensures the safe, reliable operation of lift and escalator equipment across multi‑unit sites. You'll carry out maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and equipment improvements that help reduce downtime and enhance performance.

What you’ll do
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lift equipment.
  • Complete minor repairs and replace components in line with company procedures.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults during breakdowns, ensuring equipment is safe and fully functional.
  • Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and reinstatement of lift installations.
  • Use technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and test equipment to restore equipment to service.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Work safely at all times, following UK legislation and internal policies.
  • Contribute to ongoing safety improvements and uphold high standards of conduct.
What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in lift servicing, maintenance, and repairs, including call‑out work.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Maintenance.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and confidence working independently on night shifts.
  • Clear communication skills with clients, management, and inspectors.
