Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Lift Service & Callout Engineer to join our South West team, covering Bristol, Devon and Somerset. You will service, repair and maintain customer lifts, ensuring reliable operation across the region.

The role requires a driving licence, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the Area Service & Repair Manager. A commitment to safety and high customer service standards is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, strong organisation and customer care.
• Ability to use initiative and work well with others.
• Commitment to health and safety at work.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Service & Callout Engineer to join our South West division based in Bristol/Devon & Somerset, who will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining our clients' elevators across their region.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lift Service & Callout Engineer to join our South West division based in Bristol/Devon & Somerset, who will be responsible for servicing, repairing and maintaining our clients' elevators across their region.

As a Lift Service & Callout Engineer, your day to day will include:

• Servicing and maintaining customer lifts
• Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
• Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
• Responding to emergency breakdowns as directed, identify and rectify faults and report any concerns to the Area Service & Repair Manager
• Maintaining stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
• Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the lifts compliant
• Out of hours work on a pro rata basis

Who we are looking for

• NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
• Positive attitude and receptive to change
• Extremely organised
• Superior customer-care skills
• The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
