Job summary

Stannah Group in the Salisbury region is seeking a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to join our maintenance team. You will handle repairs, fault finding, and keep lifts running reliably across a local patch, with a hands-on approach and regular call-outs.

The role covers Salisbury and surrounding areas, with no long-distance travel and a mix of commercial, residential, and public sites. NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent, along with a valid UK driving licence, are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Salisbury and surrounding areas.

This is a hands‑on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults.

You’ll manage your own work day‑to‑day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch:

• Covering Salisbury and nearby areas
• Local, structured patch
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• No unnecessary long-distance travel

Lift Engineer Requirements:
