Position Overview

£8.50/hour | Contract | Full time | NEW Arise Lifts operates nationally across the whole of the UK. We are proven market leaders in the maintenance and repair of all makes and types of lifting equipment, and additionally offer full design, installation of new lifts and refurbishment of existing lifts.

Apprenticeship Overview

Apprenticeship Level 3 Apprentice Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Standard - Electromechanical. The apprentice will work with qualified engineers on all principles throughout the apprenticeship. This will involve learning on the job and gaining experience whilst being supervised and monitored by trained and qualified engineers. The apprentice will assist engineers to complete certain tasks and will be given the opportunity to also complete work whilst supervised. Experience will be provided on servicing, call outs, repairs and potentially some modernisation and installation projects.

Requirements & Experience
  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 to 9 or equivalent, including Maths, English and preferably a Science subject.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self‑starting and motivated attitude with a curiosity to learn.

  • Ability to absorb information, analyse problems, make fact‑based decisions, and propose innovative solutions.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (30min lunch break). This role requires flexibility; start and finish times will vary based on travel distance and site location. Some early starts and late finishes may be necessary.
