Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the lift industry is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of both traction and hydraulic lift systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake lift maintenance and callouts across service area.
  • Manage service routes including documentation.
  • Complete insurance report items and SAFed testing.
  • Participate in a 24/7 callout rota.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with health and safety.

Skills

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering
3 years' experience in lift industry
Knowledge of traction and hydraulic lift systems
Excellent IT literacy
Strong interpersonal skills
Full valid UK driving licence

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established and growing maintenance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring high standards of lift service, safety, and reliability across a varied client base. This position offers scope for progression, additional earning potential, and specialised offshore work with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake lift maintenance, callouts, and minor repairs across a designated service area.
  • Manage and maintain service routes including documentation and route paperwork transmission.
  • Complete insurance report items and SAFed testing requirements.
  • Participate in a 24/7 callout rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Skills & Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the lift industry.
  • Strong knowledge of both traction and hydraulic lift systems.
  • Excellent IT literacy and familiarity with digital service processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
  • Must be willing to undergo a PVG check.
