Ashlynn Grange Care Home in Peterborough is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support the activities programme across the home. You will help ensure the residents have meaningful, engaging and stimulating activities and you will work with the team to raise awareness of the programme.
The role involves coordinating events, champions person-centered care and actively engaging residents in meaningful activities, respecting individual needs and communication differences.
As an Activities Coordinator at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for supporting the provision of meaningful, enjoyable, engaging and stimulating activities which are planned in the Home for our residents - we want to make memorable moments at Ashlynn Grange!
Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables.
The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to our residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.
The Activities Coordinator, known internally as Lifestyles Coordinator, will proactively engage with and support the activities programme in the Home. They will provide support to ensure other team members and residents know about and are engaged in the activities programme.
£14.24 per hour (includes a 12.1% uplift in lieu of accrued holiday pay).
Flexible shift pattern across Monday to Sunday.
