Job summary

Hearst UK is seeking a Content Creator, Lifestyle & Entertainment to develop engaging lifestyle and entertainment content across Hearst UK’s brands, including Digital Spy, Best Magazine and Inside Soap.

You will work in a fast-paced editorial team, producing stories daily, supporting events and podcasts, managing editorial administration and building strong relationships with PRs to contribute to commercially successful coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of celebrity culture, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle trends.
• Experience writing engaging, accurate editorial content for print and digital.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and how to create engaging content.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with proofreading and fact-checking.
• Confident building relationships with PRs, agencies and contacts.
• Proactive and collaborative, able to support colleagues and events.
• Experience with editorial CMS systems (Censhare desirable).

Responsibilities

• Create engaging lifestyle content for Digital Spy, up to three stories per day.
• Produce the weekly Style Watch page for Inside Soap and support lifestyle content for Best magazine.
• Support planning and delivery of Entertainment portfolio events and Inside Soap Goodie Bags.
• Coordinate competitions process, approvals, entry mechanics and deadlines.
• Assist production of the Suddenly Single podcast, coordinating guest logistics.
• Handle day-to-day editorial administration, including commissioning and invoicing.
• Build strong relationships with PRs and media contacts to source content and opportunities.
• Represent Hearst UK brands at launches and events, supporting the wider editorial team.
