Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with older and vulnerable people.

Lifeline Services have been providing award winning support to the residents of Darlington since 1989 and the equipment that we provide gives the user and their families the reassurance needed to enable them to live safely and independently in their own home.

The response team is based at our Town Hall office and the integral duties of a Lifeline Response officer is the demonstration, installation and monitoring of various technology alongside responding to any emergency calls as necessary. Our officers must be of a calm and caring nature and be able to think dynamically, in a fast paced and busy environment.

You will be confident in the use of databases and Microsoft office packages with a good understanding of GDPR to meet with the administrative duties of the role.

You will need to be approachable with a 'can do' attitude and amongst other valuable skills, be sociable, flexible and possess the ability to communicate effectively and with compassion to our clients.

It would be an advantage to have a strong background of working in a customer facing role with experience of older and more vulnerable people.

Week 1
  • Monday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
  • Tuesday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
  • Wednesday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
  • Saturday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
  • Sunday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
Week 2
  • Tuesday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
  • Wednesday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)
  • Thursday 15:30-21:30 (6 hours)

This shift pattern would suit one applicant at 24 hours per week or could be split between multiple applicants.
