Job summary

A not-for-profit sports provider is seeking a Lifeguard to supervise school swimming lessons while ensuring the safety of children. Qualifications

Position Title: Lifeguard (School swimming) – 35 hours per week

Salary: £20‑21k

Location: M12

What you’ll be doing
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children during swimming lessons.
  • Set up and dismantle pop‑up swimming pools and equipment as required.
  • Support the delivery of high‑quality swimming lessons and water‑safety education to primary school children, in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations while maintaining a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Respond to emergencies, administer first aid and CPR where required.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to promote a positive swimming experience for all children.
  • Complete relevant risk assessments and logs to guarantee participant safety.
  • Attend professional development where required for the role.
  • Act as a positive role model, fostering an engaging environment that encourages participation in sport and activity.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, demonstrating our company values.
  • Assist with the promotion of other Dream Big Sports products and services.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified lifeguard.
