Job summary

Nuffield Health Croydon Purley Way gym is hiring a Lifeguard to keep our pool, spa, sauna and steam room safe and welcoming. You’ll work part-time (22 hours/week) and bring a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent, plus strong customer-care skills and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records.
• Passionate about customer care and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities – the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents immediately.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
