Job summary

Lloyd's Register International is seeking a Lifeguard to report to the Pool Manager and assist the Deputy Pool Manager. You will supervise the pool during swimming lessons and other activities, ensuring the safety of all users and providing reception cover.

You will enforce pool rules, respond to emergencies, maintain cleanliness, and support administration and Learn to Swim programs. A current Lifesaving qualification (NPLQ) and compliance with DBS checks, references and UK work entitlement are

Responsibilities

• Supervise the pool during swimming lessons and other pool activities ensuring the safety of all users
• Enforce pool rules consistently and manage any behavior dangerous to individuals or others
• Respond quickly to emergencies in line with established procedures
• Maintain a vigilant watch of pool areas and communicate with staff on duty
• Assist with reception duties and provide information and bookings via telephone and email
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities
• Support Learn to Swim programme administration and general Swim Centre operations
• Regularly patrol pool hall and changing rooms and report concerns to line manager
