Job summary

Village Hotel Bracknell is seeking a proactive Leisure Assistant (Lifeguard) to join our team. The role alternates between poolside lifeguarding and general leisure duties, including maintaining hygiene and engaging with members to ensure a high-quality experience.

You will rotate every 30 minutes for lifeguard duties and pool safety, while also helping keep changing rooms and club areas pristine, following COSHH and hotel procedures. A people‑oriented mindset and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Impeccable personal presentation and proactive attitude.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to rotate between lifeguard duties and general leisure duties.

Responsibilities

• Poolside safety and vigilance during the 30-minute rotation and immediate response to alarms or emergencies.
• Carry out routine cleaning and uphold hygiene standards in changing rooms and club areas.
• Engage with members, answer queries, handle lost property, and report equipment issues to maintenance.
• Operate hotel procedures safely, including cash handling, security, and adherence to SOPs.
