Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to oversee pool safety and ensure a great member experience across our clubs in the UK. You will monitor pool areas, conduct tests in line with guidelines and keep documentation up to date. A passion for health and fitness and strong communication help you engage with members.

You will be part of a team focused on safety, service, and inclusion, supporting club activities and delivering high-quality wellness experiences for members and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NPLQ qualification.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
• Passion for health and fitness and delivering great member experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pool safety and watch for hazards.
• Ensure pool areas comply with Health & Safety requirements and test water quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist members as needed.

With over 180 indoor and outdoor pools at David Lloyd Clubs, our Lifeguards play a vital role in always overseeing the poolside safety as well as being on hand to ensure our members are having a great experience . You will ensure the pool areas are compliant on all Health and Safety requirements, conducting pool tests in accordance with company guidelines and ensuring that documentation is maintained accurately at all times .
