Job description
About the Role

Equans is looking for an Lifecycle Project Manager to join our team at Tameside General Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

The Lifecycle Project Manager carries out the role according to onsite processes and procedures. The position ensures that EQUANS can meet contractual obligations whilst simultaneously providing an excellent service to our customers.

  • The post holder will be the main driver and point of contact for the delivery of the planned and unplanned lifecycle, variations, and small & additional works across the PFI estate at Tameside General Hospital.   • Populate governance documentation, and approval process management for the delivery of the lifecycle works.
  • Work with the commercial team to complete works contracts.
  • Ensure upon all Lifecycle works, variations, small & additional works completed that where applicable supporting documentation/O&M's are shared with the technical team to provide a fully auditable administrative trail in line with contractual obligations and ISO accreditation.
  • Co‑ordinate and arrange for the external surveyors to undertake condition surveys and interpret the final report(s) with the support from the existing team to compile the annual lifecycle planner(s)
  • Engage with competent Contractors from our PSL to carry out the design, works/construction and commissioning of the proposed lifecycle works.
  • Monitor the progress of the lifecycle deliverables with further support and input from the established Technical Team and Contracts Manager to ensure the works are completed within the time, budget, and safety and to the required quality.
  • Implement and maintain company safety procedures throughout the Lifecycle works process to ensure minimal risk to personnel.

Who are we looking for?
  • Experience of delivering or working within PFI healthcare lifecycle/projects.
  • Demonstrable & varied experience in Lifecycle project management for medium and high value works packages
  • Experience of implementing and managing CDM
  • Demonstrate good team working.
  • Comprehensive Administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Sound organisational/co‑ordination skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & telephone manner
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Dynamic & Collaborative approach
  • Ability to provide professional guidance & task management to other staff members.
  • Facilities Management experience
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Educated to degree level or evidence of suitable experience.
