Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Lifecycle Manager to oversee lifecycle works across public estate contracts in Scotland. This role emphasizes strategic and operational delivery while managing asset surveys and developing lifecycle management plans. Candidates should have a background in construction or surveying with strong organizational skills, as well as a full UK driving license. Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of construction, engineering, or surveying disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of building structures, fabric, and M&E services.
  • Experience conducting or supporting building condition surveys.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed understanding of lifecycle models for allocated contracts.
  • Undertake condition and validation surveys across sites.
  • Prepare annual and five-year lifecycle plans for each contract.
  • Develop project scopes and technical solutions to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of annual lifecycle plans.

Skills

Knowledge of construction, engineering or surveying
Understanding of building structures and M&E services
Experience conducting building condition surveys
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communication skills

Education

Degree or equivalent in Construction, Engineering, or Surveying
