Merck Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Gillingham, Dorset, to join our Life Science distribution centre. You will help ensure products are stored, handled, and dispatched safely and reliably as part of a collaborative team.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30, with full training provided for those with willing attitude and a good work ethic. Experience is desirable but not mandatory, and familiarity with stock control systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates learning agility and reliability.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsabilités

• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods to designated storage locations.
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch with accurate labelling.
• Conducting inventory records and stock checks using the Warehouse Management System (e.g., SAP).
• Following site-specific operations and safety protocols, including handling hazardous or temperature sensitive materials.
