Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Cost Manager to lead commercial delivery on complex laboratory, research and specialist facilities projects. You will oversee cost plans, procurement, forecasts and final accounts for multiple lifecycle stages while supporting clients and project teams across Oxford, London, and wider locations.

Ideal candidates will be MRICS-registered or working towards the qualification, with proven cost management in life sciences or MEPT environments, strong

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification preferred or actively pursuing
• Degree in Quantity Surveying required or equivalent
• Proven quantity surveying/cost management experience in lab, life sciences or highly serviced environments
• Strong cost planning, estimating, procurement and financial reporting experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with CostX, 5D BIM or similar digital cost tools advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of assigned projects from cost planning to final account
• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and benchmarking analyses for life sciences facilities
• Manage tender processes and evaluate contractor submissions for best value
• Administer valuations, payments, variations, and change control
• Maintain risk registers and provide proactive commercial reporting to clients
• Produce clear cost forecasts and financial updates for decision making
• Collaborate with design and delivery teams to identify value engineering opportunities
• Promote and mentor use of digital cost management tools and processes
