About the Role

We are looking for Life Practitioners to join our team at Tigh Dion in Farcet, Peterborough. You will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting with daily activities and accompanying them on trips into the community. A company vehicle is available to transport people we support to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive the company vehicle you must have held a full UK driving licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more.

Starting rates for those without experience are £12.31 and for those with experience it’s £12.56. New entries: £12.31, Level 1 £12.56, Level 2 £13.10, Level 3 £13.60. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through our competency framework, unlocking pathways to increased hourly rates of pay. About You

What will you be doing:

  • Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all times.
  • Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events in the home and wider community.
  • Assisting with practical tasks relating to care, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Creating positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
  • Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
  • Maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
  • Reviewing and recording any changes to the needs of the young adults.
  • Contributing to the development of the team.
