About The Role

Here at Kisimul, we provide exceptional education and care for children, young people, and adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs, including behaviours of concern. Through our registered schools, college, and care homes, we support children up to the age of 19 with education and care, and offer residential care and supported living for adults aged 18 to 65.

Our goal is to help every person we support live a meaningful and fulfilling life through compassion, respect, and empowerment.

We’re looking for Life Practitioners to join our team at Elvar House, Surbiton.

As a Life Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in supporting adults with severe learning disabilities and complex needs to live independent, fulfilling lives. Your role will include:

  • Support with day-to-day living and personal goals.
  • Accompany individuals on community activities such as shopping, meals, and appointments.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships that promote dignity and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with colleagues to safeguard and empower the people we support.
Pay & Progression

We offer clear progression through our competency framework, helping you develop your skills and increase your pay as you grow; Level 1: £13.61 Level 2: £14.15 Level 3: £14.69
