Job description

South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a female life portrait model for artistic sessions focused on capturing the human form through drawing, painting, and sculpture.

The sessions are conducted in a professional and respectful environment, and models are required to pose for our part-time adult students on leisure courses, and also our full-time college art students, based at our Lichfield Campus.

The successful candidate will need to be confident and comfortable with life modelling, including unclothed poses, the ability to hold poses for extended periods of time, and be professional and punctual.

Genuine Occupational Requirement

Due to the nature of the artistic work and the requirement to represent the female form authentically, this role is restricted to female applicants. This restriction is in accordance with Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010, which permits such a requirement where it is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim.
