As a Lidl Procurement Services Consultant, you will manage tenders and appoint suppliers across a diverse range of indirect procurement areas, from market research to contract negotiation. We offer a hybrid working model – spend three days or more in our state‑of‑the‑art office (on‑site gym, restaurant and more) and up to two days at home for a healthy work/life balance.

What you’ll do
  • Strategic sourcing and analysis – deliver sourcing initiatives, including supplier industry analysis, benchmarking and cost structure evaluation; propose data‑driven, compliant procurement decisions aligned with business goals.
  • Tender management – manage mid‑to‑high value and complexity tenders from market research to supplier selection; create tender packs, complete scorecards and present recommendations.
  • Negotiations & contracting – prepare and lead negotiation meetings, draft and negotiate contracts, and ensure clarity and compliance across all terms.
  • Category development & innovation – support the rollout of new procurement categories, recommend innovative service delivery models and sourcing approaches, and implement category improvements based on internal and external trends.
  • Contract & supplier relationship management – oversee the contract lifecycle, manage renewals and amendments, track performance and foster strong supplier relationships for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder collaboration & reporting – engage with stakeholders to translate needs into procurement strategies, present insights and proposals to senior management, and act as a trusted adviser.
What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in a procurement role, CIPS level 4 or substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience with suppliers, contract management and tendering.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills and confidence in presenting to senior or Board level executives.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, navigate change and adapt procurement strategies to shifting priorities.
  • Strong prioritisation and project management skills to handle multiple complex projects within tight deadlines.
  • Analytical ability to interpret large volumes of data and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
