We’re looking for an experienced Loan Partner who will meet with buyers, prequalify and convert them to work with us, structure loans with care and precision, and help clients get mortgage-ready, all without having to leave the office to find and bring in more clients.

This Loan Partner will focus on meeting with clients applying for a loan, reviewing income, credit, and using their mortgage skills to structure loans, convert and retain clients. Delivering an outstanding client experience is a must in this role.

Our ideal applicant is experienced in qualifying clients and structuring loans. They are a hardworking, detail-oriented team player who ensures that every borrower feels cared for and confident through each step of the process.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a must, as many clients are Spanish-speaking and appreciate clear, personal guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Look over all loan package paperwork to check for inconsistencies, omissions, and inaccurate income calculations and then report any errors to the loan originator
  • Answer questions from customers or employees regarding transactions and give quotes when required to deliver excellent customer service
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and borrowers to retain existing clients and attract new business
  • Liaise between clients, referral partners, and the loan officer, serving as their primary contact during the “contact to contract” phase of the loan process, and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
  • Orchestrate the completion of loan applications, coordinate the collection of documentation including credit reports, run DU/LP/AUS, prepare the file for processing, and send a closing cost worksheet to borrowers
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years mortgage experience as a Loan Partner or Loan Officer
  • Active NMLS license or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish (a must)
  • Deep understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan guidelines and knowledge of mortgage documentation, processes and systems.
  • Ability to analyze tax returns, W2s, and self-employment income
  • Curious. Ability to think outside of the box to look for ways to make a loan work.
  • Excellent with clients and referral partners. You love being on a great team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clients and agents love talking to you.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive follow-up and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Tech-savvy with experience in ARIVE LOS, CRM, and digital communication tools
Compensation

$55,000 - $75,000 yearly + bonus
