Overview

Job Title: Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Location(s): UK Wide

Department: Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)

Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Line Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Licensed Aircraft Engineers to join our growing MRO team across different sites. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing, certifying, and supervising aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory and company standards to ensure airworthiness and safety of all serviced aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and components in accordance with approved data and procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in compliance with EASA Part-145 / CASA / FAA / GCAA (as applicable) regulations and company MOE.
  • Conduct detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and rectifications of technical issues.
  • Supervise and mentor technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Complete and maintain accurate maintenance documentation and certification records.
  • Liaise with operations, planning, and quality departments to ensure timely aircraft release.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aircraft systems, technical publications, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid Part-66 / CASA / FAA / GCAA (or equivalent) Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
  • Type-rated on one or more of the following aircraft (preferred) or similar: Cessna 560/680/680, EMB 505, Falcon 2000, BD Challenger 350/650, BD - 700, KingAir, H145, Beechcraft. Type courses / training may be provided.
  • Strong understanding of aviation safety management systems (SMS) and quality assurance principles.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
