This role does not meet the minimum requirements set by the UKVI to enable sponsorship of migrant workers.The University of Dundee's Library Academic and Cultural Services Directorate operates multiple library sites, museums, archives and stores. Stock is circulated and managed across a Main Library site, other subject and specialist sites, and separate storage facilities. Dundee's library resources and spaces were rated top in Scottish Universities by students in 2024 National Student Survey. The Main Library receives over 800,000 visits annually.
We are recruiting exceptional individuals to join us as Library Logistics Attendants within Library Academic and Cultural Services, to join the team in transporting stock items around the various Library sites and stores and providing logistical support for events, projects, and other operational activities.
The post holders will ensure the safe retrieval and restocking of items from various stores, perform stock checks at multiple library sites, and assist with stock management tasks.
The successful applicants will have a customer focus and be committed to providing excellent service in a friendly and welcoming manner. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
