Bradford College is seeking a Library Learning Facilitator to join our Learning, Teaching and Innovation department. Based mainly in the David Hockney Library, you will support learners and staff with access to learning resources, including finding books and journals, using laptops and booking study rooms.
The post is part-time (18.5 hours per week) with one evening every alternative week, and includes an Acquisitions role handling new stock using the library management system.
We are looking for a Library Learning Facilitator to join our Learning, Teaching and Innovation department. Based mainly in the David Hockney Library but willing to work at our two other sites, Library Learning Facilitators provide front line support to learners and staff in the access and use of learning resources, including finding books and journals, using laptops and booking study rooms. The post holder is expected to work effectively with minimum supervision, using initiative, but referring matters of policy or non‑routine issues for guidance. This post also includes an Acquisitions role. Main responsibilities include receiving, processing and receipting new stock using the library management system as directed. The post will involve working one evening on alternative weeks, either until 6pm or 8pm. This is a part‑time role working 18.5 hours per week.
