A local government council in the United Kingdom seeks enthusiastic individuals to provide digital support and lead community events. The role requires excellent customer service skills and an ability to engage with diverse audiences. Ideal candidates will come from backgrounds in retail, community work, or education, and must be flexible in working across different locations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
The role is diverse, exciting and no two days are the same. You will help our customers access a wide range of resources and services. A typical day could see you provide digital one to one support, lead events and activities such as a song or storytelling session for children or an online activity group for adults. Expect to learn something new every day in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
Working hours are based on a 2 week rota and include Saturdays.
Worcestershire Libraries are structured in clusters with a larger library and 3 others in each cluster, except for The Hive. There is an expectation that you would work where needed at any library in the cluster.
While you are working hard, doing your best for the people of Worcestershire, we will do our best to provide an environment that supports and inspires you. The work we do at Worcestershire County Council matters: we are there for the most vulnerable people, help build a growing local economy, protect our environment, improve outcomes for children, young people and families, and help residents be healthier and have a better quality of life. With so many ways to contribute, the chances are we have a job opportunity that's the career for you.
