A community-focused organization is seeking a library assistant in Stirling to assist in delivering a variety of library services. The role requires good communication skills, strong ICT capabilities, and a flexible working approach, including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates will have an interest in literature and a customer-focused attitude. Previous experience is desirable but not mandatory.
A vacancy has arisen for a library assistant in Central Library. You will assist in the delivery of a range of library services to the community. You will be educated to standard grade or equivalent, be interested in literature and have good ICT skills.
A flexible approach to the working week, which will include evening and weekend working, is essential. You will have good communication skills and the ability to work with people of all age groups and abilities.
Although previous library experience is desirable, applicants with a customer focussed attitude and good team-working skills should also apply.
