A local government organization in Bishop Auckland seeks a Library and Council Services Assistant to join a dynamic team. There is an opportunity to work as a Library and Council Services Assistant in the Waitākere Ranges Local Board. An opportunity has arisen to work with the Glen Eden and Titirangi library teams to deliver outstanding customer service to our diverse Waitākere Ranges community.
Our library whānau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. We are looking for a flexible all-rounder to join and contribute as part of a high-achieving, cohesive, and dynamic team. You will be supporting the team and contributing to the day-to-day running of the library. As this is a customer service role, you will be helping customers from all walks of life.
Many of our libraries are open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends and late nights, is required. We are looking to fill a 26-hour permanent position currently worked Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
