An educational institution in Langley is seeking a passionate individual to promote literacy and student engagement. The role offers flexibility with work-life balance, mentorship opportunities, and a supportive environment. Candidates will encourage a love for reading through various initiatives and partnerships. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion is essential.
We love our Library. It is open‑plan and sits at the heart of our Academy. Sometimes it is a place of reading and independent study. At other times it is a hive of activity with resident authors, competitions, and events. This role is perfect for somebody who enjoys the freedom to work independently and provides the scope to drive your ideas to promote reading and research within our student community. As a small multi‑Academy Trust, we have close collaboration. Links between primaries and our 6th form help our students share their delight in books and we provide our students with lots of opportunities to bring stories to life.
The Langley Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check. The Trust reserves the right to appoint ahead of the deadline.
