Liability Adjusting Manager

Job Location: UK wide, hybrid working

Job Type: Permanent

Remuneration: Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Liability Adjusting Manager to be based in the UK.

You will have responsibility for the development and performance of your team and the ongoing quality of the work produced as well as ensuring service delivery levels are continually met and budget targets are met.

Additionally, you’ll take responsibility for undertaking internal audits to include telephony and file reviews, highlighting trends, training and development needs, as well as highlighting, developing and implementing new claims process improvements in line with client approval.

Reports for management information will be second nature to you, so that you can highlight trends hot spots and solutions implemented. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in Client management and customer management.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Claims Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a high-volume claims team, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and delivery of service excellence under pressure.
  • Technical Claims Expertise: In-depth experience in handling Third Party Property Damage claims, including investigation, liability assessment, negotiation, and settlement, with a strong focus on cost control and customer outcomes.
  • Team Development & Coaching: Proven capability in coaching, training, and motivating individuals and teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Insurance Law & Indemnity Knowledge: Solid understanding of insurance law, policy wording interpretation, and the principles of indemnity, with the ability to apply these effectively in complex claims scenarios.
