Booker Group is seeking an experienced LGV Class 1 driver to join the transport team in the UK. You will move vehicles safely around the yard, across loading bays, and prepare them for departure, ensuring high safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities include checking vehicle defects, reporting faults, keeping the yard and wash area clean, and assisting with trunking/backhaul operations as required. A Counterbalance forklift/PPT licence and full CPC training are essential.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid LGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Must have full CPC training.
• Counterbalance forklift/PPT licence required.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Willingness to travel offsite occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Move vehicles safely around the yard and on/off loading bays.
• Park vehicles securely and prepare them for departure.
• Check vehicle defects and report faults via proper channels.
• Keep yard and wash areas clean and tidy.
• Assist with trunking/backhaul operations as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and chill chain standards where required.
