Job summary

A temporary staffing agency is seeking an LGV Driver for a role with Rotherham Council in waste and recycling services. The candidate will be responsible for the safe collection of waste, leading a crew, and ensuring high service standards. Qualifications

• Essential LGV driving licence (Category C).
• Experience in waste operations or LGV driving.
• Must be physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate LGV collection vehicles safely.
• Lead and supervise a crew during collection rounds.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle checks.
• Update service data in real-time using Bartec system.
• Ensure compliance with schedules, policies, and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service.
