LGV Driver

London Heathrow

We are now recruiting for various roles of LGV licensed individuals of all categories. As a LGV Driver, you will be

responsible for vehicle‑related duties such as checking your vehicle and load, meeting collection and delivery targets and

updating the operational team with your progress.

On a day‑to‑day basis, you will be a front‑of‑house worker liaising with customers as well as your co‑workers, our operational and management teams and other members of staff to ensure we deliver an impeccable service. You will need

to have good communication skills and be an excellent team player.

Applicants who have recently acquired their licence, are under 25 and/or have a lack of driving experience will also be

considered. Immediate starts are available.

Successful applicants will be working within a 24 hour, 7 day week Aviation Logistics company and its subsidiary Commercial Vehicle Rental company servicing London Heathrow. Mixed Freight Services Ltd, a Civil Aviation Authority Regulated Licensed logistics company, engages in the transportation, handling, screening of Import, Export and General Cargo within the United Kingdom. We are seeking individuals to support our transport operation.

Hours of work :

• Full time position Monday to Friday (nights / days)
• 4 on 4 off shift (nights / days)
• Temporary work also available

Salary :

Salary varies pending your type of licence

Holidays :

20 days per year + Bank holidays (pro rata for shift workers)

Background check requirements

In considering this position the applicant must be able to successfully complete a background check for a period not exceeding 5 years which will be supported by the following criteria :

• Personal identity, for the purpose of a background check. In the case of EU National, a full member state passport or National identity card.
• A criminal record certificate from his / her country of residence will remain valid from 10 weeks from the date of issue.
• Written confirmation from employers, education establishments or other sources in covering a five‑year checkable record, no gaps over 28 days.
• Completed company application form with a declaration that the information given is correct and accurate.
• Aviation awareness; security training of the appropriate level for the job role function will be delivered to the successful candidate.
