Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime available. Start/finish times are 05.00–14.30 or 06.00–15.30, at an hourly rate of £16.87.

You will drive various LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins for trade waste customers, outdoors, using initiative to make a local impact. This role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work and delivering reliable service, with in-house training, access to Perkz discounts, and family-friendly policies as part of the

Qualifications

Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders.
Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
Maintain outdoor lead and operate vehicle safely during shifts.
