Job summary

Ocado Logistics is hiring LGV drivers to deliver and collect products across a network of Ocado sites. You will work a flexible pattern including nights, late and early shifts and weekends, with a minimum 32 hours and potential overtime up to 12.5 hours per day.

You will shuttle stock from large warehouses to regional sites, with no multi-drops. We offer a benefits package including private medical insurance after 12 months, CPC training, pension matching up to 7%, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Category C+E licence held with up to 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• Desirable to have at least 6 months driving experience.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) drivers will undertake delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations in line with all company policies and procedures.

You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern consisting of nights, late and early shifts including weekends. Your minimum contracted hours will be 32 hours; routes are assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, so you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours.

Day-to-day you will collect shopping from our state‑of‑the‑art warehouses and take it to our smaller regional sites. No multi drops or hidden lanes.

Pay Structure

Hourly pay: Basic Rate: £19.20
Evening premium (18:00‑06:00): £2.00
Sunday Day Premium: £1.74
Sunday Evening Premium (18:00‑06:00): £3.94
Overtime Day rate: £24.00
Overtime Evening rate (18:00‑06:00): £26.50

Requirements

We need a passion for driving and all things trucks and lorries, along with the following driving licence requirements:

• Category C+E driving licence
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 10 years
• Desirable to have a minimum of 6 months experience
• Safe and competent driver with the ability to be flexible on shift length daily
