Job summary

Biffa is hiring an LGV 2 Driver to operate Hook Lift and related vehicles on a Tue-Sat schedule. Start times typically 07:30 and finish around 17:00, with Sundays and Mondays off. You will collect and empty bins for trade waste customers, working outdoors with initiative to improve local environments.

This role suits someone who takes pride in service, safety checks, and flexibility to operate in a team. Training and benefits support are provided by Biffa.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving license required.
• Knowledge of digital tachograph.
• Driver CPC would be an advantage.
• Conscientious, reliable and resilient.
• Flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and robust.
• Committed to providing a great service.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders.
• Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors and use initiative to improve local environments.
• Maintain vehicle safety and basic checks as part of daily duties.

LGV 2 Driver - Hook Lift

Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday rest days)

Start/Finish Time: 07.30am to 17.00

£16.87p/h

Working as part of a single person crew, you will drive various modes of LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins, from our trade waste customers.
